The model ATX is a soldering station available in two versions with heating element of 50 W or 100W. The station is equipped with a motor which withdraws the tin wire from an external spool holder and it feeds the amount requested to the tip of the soldering stylus by means of a teflon tube at high smoothness, parallel to the stylus main cable. The feeding of the tin is obtained by the operator which releases a switch button placed on the stylus hilt . The machine has an adjustable timer circuit from 0 to 20 seconds (as option) to adjust the amount of feeding of the tin wire, suitable for special applications, like robot soldering. The diameter of the tin wire could vary from 0.7 to 1.2 mm, the system adapts itself automatically at each variation of diameter of the wire and therefore it doesn't require manual regulation. The tin spool holder can accommodate a tin roll of maximum 1 Kg. The tin feeding speed is 12 mm/sec.

The station can be mounted on a desk top Robot for repetitive soldering job. Example of simple but effective soldering automation, achieved with two Etneo Atx units mounted on a movable Z arm. The iron units perform instantaneous soldering on two 2D or 3D points.
